What would the impact on the world be if we replaced large scale agriculture with localized family-sized farming? Out of all the worldly 'issues' we face, food production, distribution and consumption may seem inconsequential yet it could be the most important, most vital, most influential issue we have to face. Food is our common denominator. What is most promising about Ahava Farm is that you are sustainable under arid conditions - proving farming applicable in many places assumed to be inhospitable. And most impressively, you are self taught proving it to be as accessible as it is applicable. I left thinking of Thomas Jefferson's Agrarian Society.
